MURDER accused Karabo Moshe appeared before the Mogwase Regional Court on Thursday, 12 October 2023.
The case was postponed to Thursday, 7 December, for the attorney to be present.
The court was informed that the accused's attorney was not feeling well. The 34-year-old allegedly stabbed his lover Keabetswe Molefinyana (30) from Mabeskraal Village outside Rustenburg several times at the Mogwase Shopping Complex in February.
Moche had abandoned his right to apply for bail.
He later complained that his health was deteriorating due to the living conditions in the holding cells.
Through his attorney, he then stated his interest in applying for bail. The state strongly opposed granting bail, and an investigating officer was called to the stand to state the reasons for opposing bail.
Among other reasons stated by the investigating officer was the seriousness of the offence and that the community was furious, which might lead to them taking matters into their own hands.
Bail was denied for the murder accused in August.

The court said that the reasons stated by the accused during his application did not prove any exceptional circumstances or that it would be in the interest of justice to grant him bail.
The deceased's brother, Katlego Molefinyana, said the accused's health seems to be in good condition.
"He looks healthy while we are suffering from the pain, "he said.
Katlego said they are taken back in terms of healing every time they attend court and see the accused.
"It looks like the case will be dragged, but we are going to endure till we get justice." Said the brother.
The accused will remain in custody until the next court appearance.
