THE Life 4 u Foundation brings sunshine to informal settlement residents in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni.
On Monday, 15 January, members of the Foundation handed over meals to the residents of Madela Kufa informal settlement.
The foundation has been donating food to several informal settlements around Tembisa for the past five years.

"The vision is to uplift the communities in Tembisa and its surrounding areas," said Simon.
He said the foundation also empowers residents with skills by offering courses in being a cashier, plumber, computer lessons, as well as driving lessons.
Foundation member Obakeng Molatse said their vision and hope is to make a difference in the lives of people and to help reduce the high levels of poverty in the area.
"We give out food from Monday to Friday. In many cases, hunger is the reason behind the high rate of crime, depression, and lack of concentration for poor little children," said Obakeng.
Beneficiary Vanessa Letsoalo (31) said the foundation is making a difference in the community.
"Every day, we eat for free, and we are thankful.
"The foundation has brought light and hope to us, and we want to thank them for their good deeds," said Vanessa.
Sello Rasilwane (36) said this initiative is a good movement that helps the community and ensures that people don't go to bed on empty stomachs.
