Duo Mavisto and MuTeo said they love making music.

THIS music duo is ready to take Mzansi by storm.

Mavisto and MuTeo, real names Nhlanzeko Dlamini (23) and Siphamandla Talent Mahlangu (24), are an Afro-house duo from Richard’s Bay in KZN.

The duo has a new single coming out this week called Uthando.

They're both producers, singers and DJs who've been making big moves in Durban. They've worked with various artists, including Blaklez, Jim Mastershine and Swazi musician Sands.

They told Daily Sun that their new song is about difficulties in relationships.

"As we know, it's not all rainbows and unicorns. The inspiration for the song basically comes from all those times when a person has had a hard time with their partner and had to let go of the relationship," they said.

The duo said they've worked hard to make their mark in the music industry.

"We've had interesting, hard and good times. But we’ve learnt to embrace our talent, stay focused and stay creative," the duo said.

They said people have questioned their decision to join the music industry.

"We love music, but it’s hard when you are making music with no money, because the time you spend making music has to be spent making money and feeding our families," they said.

The duo recently signed with FS World Records, which was established in 2020.
