AS the IFP launched its manifesto without its founder Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday, 10 March, tragic news broke.

Three buses transporting party members crashed on the N3 near Gingindlovu and it's believed that several people were injured.

IFP supporter, Siyabonga Mbatha from Nongoma north of KZN said he is thrilled to have had the opportunity to attend the manifesto launch. 

"I wish the party could talk about job creation because I'm one of the people who is unemployed," he said.

Another IFP member, Thandeka Mtolo from Ulundi north of KZN said she also couldn't miss the manifesto launch. 

"It's sad that this is the very first manifesto without the party's founder Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi. We hope the current president will give us something tangible," she said.

KZN police spokeswoman, Lieutenant-Colonel Nqobile Gwala said: "We are still waiting for a report from the station."
