Help cops to find the missing Detective Dumisani Solomon Mtshali, who went missing on Sunday.

DETECTIVE Dumisani Solomon Mtshali has disappeared.

He went to visit his family in Delmas, Mpumalanga on Sunday, 24 September.

According to police spokeswoman Captain Neldah Sekgobela, the family in Delmas confirmed that he never arrived.

Mtshali, who is stationed at Crystal Park cop shop, allegedly left his Crystal Park residence in his own vehicle, a white BMW 1 series with registration number XSD 19 SCM.

Sekgobela said Mtshali was supposed to leave for a detective learning programme at Hammanskraal Police Academy on Monday, 25 September.

"One of his colleagues went to his address to pick him up as he was scheduled to travel to Pretoria for training. Mtshali was not at his residence and all his cellphones were switched off. Efforts to locate him were unsuccessful," Sekgobela said.

She said a search was conducted at his home and his bag of clothes and uniform was on his bed.

Anyone who can provide information about his whereabouts can contact Captain Malose Sekhaolelo of Crystal Park Police Station on 082 822 7608.
