Following the incident, Dylan Mafilika evaded the police and a warrant for his arrest was issued.

“Police are seeking his whereabouts. It’d suspected that he may possibly be in Gauteng, Bloemfontein or Cape Town.”

The suspect is allegedly dangerous and an affiliated gang member.

Anyone who can assist police in tracing his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Xolani Sokanyile on 082 442 2270, or CrimeStop on 08600 10111.

“All information is confidential and callers may remain anonymous. Police would like to caution everyone not to approach him as he may be armed and is considered dangerous,” Naidu added.
