THIS archbishop is pleading for help.
Archbishop Obert Ncube from Rietfontein in Muldersdrift near Krugersdorp, Gauteng wants the rubble in front of his church removed so he could expand the church.
The archbishop of Zion Apolistic Faith Mission Church said he's been pleading with the authorities since 2014 to remove the rubble but with no luck.
Speaking to Daily Sun on Good Friday, 29 March outside his church, he said he even asked the councillor to have the rubble removed so he could hold his service on the Easter weekend, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
“I asked the councillor about two months ago to have this rubble removed, but nothing happened," he said.
Ncube said he had hoped that something was going to happen when he had meetings with some of the officials on Wednesday, 27 March.
“On Wednesday the councillor sent a messenger and told me the MMC of Mogale City said I should send them pictures, which I did, but nothing happened.”

Ncube said he also spoke to Mogale city manager about the matter.
"But when I called him this morning, he didn’t answer his phone.”
He said he arrived in Rietfontein in 1996 but took charge of the church branch in 2010 when the previous owner died.
“The headquarters are in Vandebeljpark where I used to be the bishop but after 2010, I started leading this one here. We used to host our services under the tree, but the previous councillor took us to the local clinic after I wrote him a letter," said Ncube.
But they were removed from the clinic by the board member who later locked the toilets, and they were forced out.
He said whoever is going to remove the rubble and find his space for his church and will get his vote and will encourage his congregation to follow suit.
“There are other churches that are not originally from here, but they were allocated land but not us. They should tell me what is it that I need to do to get the land.”
Ncube also invited Daily Sun to his Good Friday morning service where more than 100 people turned up by noon.
When contacted for comment, Mogale City Ward 23 councillor didn't answer Daily Sun's calls and didn't even respond to the messages left for him.
