THE election date is fast approaching and parties are turning to God for divine intervention.
On Sunday, 31 March, the EFF leadership, which included Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, Leshaka Manamela, and Ekurhuleni speaker, Nthabiseng Tshivhenga, attended a church service at Bishop Benjamin Dube's High Praise Centre in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni.
Tshivhenga said they attended the service to listen to the church sermon.
“We are here to listen to the message of the church for us during Easter weekend. Today's message was well received and it hit home as the bishop preached about renewal, revival and peace which resonates with the time that we are in.

“We all know we are going towards the elections and we asked that the church pray for peaceful elections which they did and generally the renewal and the fresh change that is going to come at the end of the elections,” said Tshivhenga.
Dube said they are glad to celebrate the Passover with the EFF, one of the movements that are leading Mzansi.
“The Bible says in 2 Timothy that we pray for leaders so you may live a peaceful life in your nation. We were so honoured to the EFF leaders to fellowship and ask for prayers and for them to say they cannot do anything without God,” said Dube.
“We are so glad we have so many of them coming just to humble themselves and to say we need God we need leadership from the Lord,” he said.
Dube also prayed for the EFF leadership and Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, who also attended the service.
Asked for comment, Jub Jub refused to be interviewed.
