FORMER SABC chief operating officer Hlaudi Motsoeneng described President Cyril Ramaphosa as a "white man with a black appearance".
The leader of African Content Movement (ACM) pointed fingers at Ramaphosa for different things, including the high rate of unemployment and poverty and being indecisive about crime and gender-based violence.
Motsoeneng said Ramaphosa was folding his arms while black South Africans were suffering.
"Ramaphosa is a white man with a black perspective. He doesn't care about black excellence. He's enjoying his presidential benefits while our people are suffering in the black communities. Thousands of factories are white elephants while millions of people are unemployed.
"He [Ramaphosa] took away the dignity of black men. He's a president of empty promises. The country is experiencing aggressive capitalism championed by him. The president is silent on the land issue. We don't have economic power. Hence millions go to bed on empty stomachs. There's no democracy in South Africa," Hlaudi said.

Addressing his party members at Bethlehem New Hall in the Free State on Sunday, 25 February, Motsoeneng said Ramaphosa is a serious problem the country is currently facing.
"Every time he addresses the nation, he talks about problems, not solutions. We've experienced deadly thunderstorms in KZN. The drainages system is blocked. Infrastructure has collapsed. We're tired of problems. We need solutions.
"The country has collapsed in the hands of the highly educated president with British English. I'm ready to be South Africa's next president - to change the embarrassing situation of black people. I have a track record of changing people's lives at the SABC. People are not eating education and proper English. They need jobs, clean water and electricity," he said.
