THABO Makua is a tough fighter.

Those who start fights with the 30-year-old from Etwatwa, Ekurhuleni, know it won't end well.

A few days ago, Thabo had a fight with amajita from another section who came for girls in his section.

He fought these men and conquered them.

One of them felt humiliated. He went to call his uncle for backup and had a hammer to attack Thabo at his home.

When he couldn't find Thabo, he smashed Thabo's father's VW Golf windscreen and windows.

The man, who was allegedly helped by his uncle, also damaged parts of the VW's body and broke one of the doors at Thabo's home.

Thabo's angry parents went to Etwatwa Police Station to open a case, but the police allegedly told them it was a civil matter and refused to open the case for them.

Simon Makua, Thabo's dad, said he tried to negotiate with the family of the attacker to fix his car, but they were unwilling to come to the party.

"The windscreen alone costs a lot of money. The body of the car is also damaged and who's going to pay for all that?" asked Simon.

"Thabo had a fight wherever. I don't understand why their fight spilled over to us."

Daily Sun tried to speak to the man who was moered by Thabo to explain why he smashed the car, but he refused to speak.

Captain Nelda Sekgobela said if the police refused to open the case, the family must see the station commander.
