COPS bust four men who were found sitting inside a car with a kidnapped victim in Forest Village, Cape Town on Tuesday, 21 November.
Police spokesman Wayne Dyason said officers were patrolling the area when they saw a car parked on the side of the road. They then decided to check the car and found five men sitting inside the vehicle.
They discovered that one of the five men was a victim of kidnapping, and four others were his kidnappers.
Speaking about the incident, Dyason said cops found a rope and a knife inside the vehicle.
"They stopped and questioned the five males and saw a rope and knife inside the vehicle they were sitting in. This prompted them to further question the five males and they discovered one of them was in fact a kidnap victim of the other four.
"A case regarding his kidnapping was opened by his brother prior to the officers finding him with his captors. The four suspects were arrested," said Dyason.
