ACCORDING to its leader, the African People First (APF) was formed to restore the dignity of Africans by creating African solutions to African problems.
The leader, Muzi Hlengwa, said the party, which was formed in 2021, will improve the standard of living in the country by ensuring that every household has income.
Hlengwa said the party's main purpose is to recover the land back to its true owners.
"The land belongs to indigenous black South Africans. The land is not for sale, and it can't be used as a commodity. The land must be nationalised and redistributed among the people according to the need and ability of people to utilise it," he said.
Hlengwa said the missing link is the political will to change things by putting people first.

He said the party is not only the Messiah of the country but for the whole African continent.
Hlengwa said most of the country's immigration stems from the inability of African nations to provide opportunities for their citizens.
"Ours is to help all African countries to improve their economy and the standard of living so that people are not forced to leave their homes seeking greener pastures in South Africa," said Hlengwa.
He said APF will contest during the 2024 national elections in all provinces, even though the party is struggling with resources.
"Our message to voters is simple: vote APF and restore dignity to Africans. Vote for the party that puts people first. APF will indeed close the gap between the rich and the poor by improving the standard of living in the country," said Hlengwa.
He described himself as a family man and a God fearing leader who believes in Pan-Africanism and modern socialism that is people-driven.
