A MADALA awaits his fate after an impulsive act lands him in trouble.
This after he allegedly shot another madala after a heated argument.
The 60-year-old madala handed himself over to KaMhlushwa Police Station in Mpumalanga after he allegedly shot and killed a 78-year-old madala. The incident happened after the suspect allegedly accused the victim of witchcraft on Friday, 10 November.
Mpumalanga police spokesman Brigadier Selvy Mohlala said the deceased was at the suspect's property when the suspect ordered him to leave. An argument ensued, but eventually the deceased left the property.

Mohlala said: "The suspect then followed him for a distance where he vented his anger and shot him on his upper body. The suspect indicated that the victim had a lasher with him and intended to attack him hence he fired shots with his licenced firearm."
He said the suspect then handed himself over to the cops. After visiting the crime scene, the suspect was arrested for murder and his firearm seized for further investigation.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Nkomazi Magistrates Court on Monday, 13 November.
Mpumalanga police commissioner Lieutenant-General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela has condemned the senseless killing.
"Firearm owners have to comply to the Firearms Control Act. People cannot just act on emotions and resort to violence as a result of untested and unfounded allegations," said Manamela.
