ZODWA Wabantu will soon be returning to our small screens.

ZODWA Wabantu believes that her brand is worth much more than what she charges for her performances.

And she will be making things easy for event organisers this December.

The entertainer, known for her sexy dance moves, said she would stick to R35 000 as her booking fee as she believed it was reasonable and cheap.

“I’ve managed to build my brand to be this huge. It’s no longer being recognised only in Mzansi, but also internationally. I even have a reality show. I’m one of the biggest in Mzansi, but that doesn’t mean I should be greedy. That is why I’ll stick to R35k,” said Zodwa Wabantu, whose real name is Zodwa Libram.

While still under DJ Tira’s Afrotainment, she used to brag about being booked for R35 000, and said she received many bookings then.

“If you’re an artist, you must not let your popularity get to your head and give birth to greediness. It won’t get you anywhere. I’m selfless and hate greediness, which is why I’m an independent woman. I work hard for everything I own. I’m a hustler of note and won’t get deeper in the pockets of event organisers. Maybe one day I will up my price. But for now, organisers can relax.”

Zodwa Wabantu also took to Instagram to announce her summer booking fee.

Posting her dancing video, she wrote: “Summer booking R35 000 open. Zodwa Wabantu. There’s no one like her.”

However, most of her followers thought the fee was unreasonable.

Then Planet21 TV added: “Do you offer after-party XXX services to the owner?”

Sphelele Myeni said he would rather watch his girlfriend’s bum than pay R35k to watch Zodwa Wabantu.

But Cebile Mbatha Shandu advised her to increase the fees.

Eyadini Lounge owner Jabulani “Mjay” Zama said Zodwa Wabantu was cheap.

“Artists are expensive and looking at how Zodwa’s brand has grown, I think she is cheap,” he said.
