GQOM star Bongekile "Babes Wodumo" Simelane was emotional on Tuesday, 27 June, as it was her late husband's birthday.
Big Nuz member Mandla "Mampintsha" Maphumolo, who died in December 2022 after a short illness, would have turned 41.
The couple tied the knot in 2021 and welcomed their baby, known as Sponge, in the same year.
Babes said she was surprised when their two-year-old son woke up and sang happy birthday to his late father.
On Tuesday, 27 June, Babes Wodumo posted a heartfelt birthday message to Mampintsha on her Facebook page.
“Pupuuu happy birthday, my love. Today it's your birthday, my king. I hope you are happy where you are. Happy birthday, my husband. I love you very much even if you are not here anymore, but I can feel you.
“These past few days I have been having mixed emotions but eventually I’m trying, and I know you are looking at us, me, and Sponge. I love you, infinity,” she wrote.

Babes Wodumo told Daily Sun that it was an emotional day as they would have spent the day together if he was still alive.
“I have mixed emotions and I’m emotional as it is Mampintsha’s birthday. In the morning it was difficult for me to even wake up.
“I was surprised by my son who woke up and sang a birthday song for his late father, and I’m not sure who told him to do that. I was shocked,” she said.
Babes Wodumo said she would keep visiting Mampintsha’s grave with their son to continue to show him love beyond the grave.
“I normally go there with my son even though he doesn't know what is happening. I will go to the grave with wreaths, and I will continue to visit him,” she said.
Many people and celebs including DJ Tira who worked with Mampintsha for a long time joined Babes Wodumo in wishing Mampintsha happy birthday on Facebook on Tuesday, 27 June.
