A DUO of producers from Ga-Rankuwa in Tshwane is determined to solidify its name in the house music industry.
If you are looking for a soulful house jam to play at your parties or in your car, look no further because SoulLab has several hits for you.
SoulLab was formed in 2013 by Kagiso Mokgatle and Kagiso Mathibe.
Their songs are played globally with a signature sound that has paved their way to success.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Mokgatle, known as Kay9ine, said they are ready to release their new album Press Play.
This is their second album following the successful release of their debut album, Into Our World.
"We aimed to create a project perfect for long-distance drives or vacations, incorporating various music genres that soothe the soul.
"It's an album where you won't want to skip any tracks," Mokgatle said.
He said they featured artists like TJ Moodsetter, Shazmicsoul, Dj Biggz, Tasha LaRae (USA) AcMusiq, Dj Zile and Sir Rizio.
Kay9ine said the album will drop on 7 July through Groove On Records.
"We chose Groove On Records because they align with our sound and musical style.
"Our sound has been received very well both locally and internationally. We have managed to build a strong foundation internationally, and the excitement locally is at another level, with people eagerly awaiting the release date," he said.

Speaking about they met, Mathibe said they met through social media and discovered they were from the same neighbourhood.
"We started hanging out and attending gigs and events together, only to realise our shared love for music. We noticed a sound missing in the South African house music. We decided to form a duo," he said.
Mathibe said the album took more than two years to come to life.
"We had to consider who we wanted to collaborate with and the specific sound we wanted to convey.
"Our sound leans more towards an international vibe than a strictly local one. The vocalists and producers we chose to work with were individuals who truly understood our artistic vision for this project. This album is more than just a collection of songs; it's a work of art that nourishes the soul," he added.
