BONGO Beats is hoping for better days.

The Afro-house producer and DJ said he is tired of trying and wants God to intervene.

The musician, whose real name is Bongani Shabangu, wants to change this with his latest single titled Ngikhathazekile.

The Don't Break My Heart hitmaker released the song on 10 March and the video on Friday, 23 June.

Bongo Beats told Daily Sun he wants to see the light after all challenges he went through.

The 29-year-old from Soshanguve in Tshwane said when he was about to give up, God said not now.

"I featured Lwah Ndlunkulu and Kheti on Ngikhathazekile. It was great working with them.

"The song is about God and the great things He can do for your life. He can elevate you to the top when you are down. He will also show you great things when you have no hope," he said.

Bongo Beats said he wants people not to give up on themselves.

"This song shows how God can change your life in front of your enemies. I'm saying trust in Him with this song.

"It gives me hope when I am low and depressed. It's a song that gives me hope that everything will work out," he said.

Bongo Beats said the response to the song is massive and doing well on the market.

"I’m working on my new album that has great features. It features the likes of Makhadzi, Mawhoo, and Nomcebo Zikode," he added.
