IT is often said that losing a mother is a pain like no other.

And actor, Chumani Pan, knows this all too well following the tragic passing of his mother.

On Saturday, 6 August, Chumani took to social media to share his painful experience.

The star, who has appeared in TV productions including Generations: The Legacy, Ashes to Ashes and Projek Dina is a heartbroken man.

He wrote on his Facebook page: “There are no words to describe what a super human mother you were. Of all the lessons you taught me, thank you for teaching me to have a good heart. To see the good in everyone. Rest in eternal peace mom. You are no longer in pain.”

Fans sent their condolences to the soft-spoken actor and encouraged him to remain strong during this difficult period.

Zingisa Mgumane-Van Aer wrote: “My condolences to you and your family. It’s God who gives and it’s Him who takes. We must praise His name. I will keep you in my prayers.”

Mncedisi Mabulu wrote: “My deepest condolences to you Chusta and your family. I believe she is proud of raising a fine son like you. She did a great job. She did all the work and now it’s time for her to rest. Rest easy Ma!” Olwethu Kema wrote: “Oh Uxolo Bhuti. That is the worst pain ever.”
