RADIO personality Thabo “T-Bose” Mokwele (49) is bringing his life lessons to those who love to read.

T-Bose recently launched a book, titled Pause, which he described as his observations, reflections and learnings about what life was about.

In his radio career of more than two decades, T-Bose has brought challenging topics to the airwaves.

The Kaya 959 host, originally from Tshwane, said the book was what he wished he had read before starting his journey.

Pause is a compilation of my thoughts and lessons about life. My knowledge has been acquired by reading other philosophers’ views, from interviewing entrepreneurs and entertainers about self-sufficiency to preachers and teachers about self-mastery,” he said.

He described the book as his “Bible” to drive his life.

“It’s a book that everyone, from teens to adults, should read for a glimpse of my life and as a guide to living a life that is meaningful,” he added.

“We learn from our mistakes, but some mistakes are costly.

“If reading a short chapter on a particular topic can help mould a young person’s life, then Pause is a must-read.”

The book, published by Tracey McDonald Publishers, was launched at the Imbizo Shisanyama in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni, with his friends and families in attendance.

T-Bose said that he started writing the book as a blog in 2015 and at when he didn’t get any engagement on the blog, he felt like a failure. “But I soon realised that it was time to put those conversations in a book.

“You can read it all the time. It’s a conversation starter.”
