MUSICIAN Supta, whose real name is Siyabulela Sithole, is determined to change his perspective.

The 31-year-old artist from Aliwal North, Eastern Cape, recently dropped his single Ntinga Ntaka.

He shared with SunBuzz that the song tells a story of a person who wants to succeed, but something is holding them back.

He featured Obiie and Thalitha on the song.

“It only made sense that we title it Ntinga Ntaka, which means soar eagle soar. In simple terms it means when you change your perspective of life and let go of the things that no longer serve you, you see life differently and you’re well on your way to success,” he said.

Supta’s musical journey started in 2014 when he made a decision to start a music career. He dropped his first song a year later, titled Whatchu know about groove and featuring Moccachino.

He has never looked back since then.

The artist said he has previously worked with big artists such as Prince Kaybee, DJ Tira, NaakMusiq, Lady Zamar, Indlovukazi, as well as Nkosazana Daughter.

He’s cooking up an EP for spring, and will drop an album next year.
