STREAMING platform, Showmax, aired the highly anticipated unauthorised show, Somizi & Mohale: End of The Road, today, 25 August.
They did the documentary without both Somizi and Mohale’s permission and interviewed other people in the entertainment and media industry about their wedding.
The likes of Lumko Johnson, Letoya Makhene, Langa Mavuso, Gabi Mbele, MaBlerh, Sol Phenduka, Jackie Phamotse and more share their thoughts and opinions about Somizi and Mohale’s marriage, and just same-sex marriages in Mzansi in general.
The doccie shows them talking about how people fought for same-sex marriages to be allowed, what they thought about Somizi and Mohale’s relationship, and how their marriage impacted how people see the same-sex marriage marriages in Mzansi.
The former couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding in 2020, showcased in the reality series Somizi & Mohale: The Union.
They announced their divorce last year. Since then, Somizi has spoken about his side of the events on his reality show, Living The Dream with Somizi.
Mohale got to do the same on a tell-all interview with Aldrin Sampear titled, Mohale: On the Record, on Showmax.

People on social media have different thoughts and opinions about the show.
While some said they enjoyed it, others said it was a waste of time.
They also shared how they feel about the interviews and enjoyed Jackie Phamotse and Gabi Mbele’s views the most.
Author Jackie Phamotse took to social media to address her role on the doccie and made it clear that she supports Mohale.
“I was also just made aware that the documentary is out on Showmax. Let’s all be clear, I support Mohale.
“My job was to analyse what’s in the public domain. I don’t wish to comment further,” she wrote.
uPeace commented on radio presenter, Tshiamo, saying that abuse was a small price for Mohale to pay.
“Tshiamo, a whole woman saying that the abuse Mohale experienced was a small price to pay is shocking! #SomhaleEOTR,” he wrote.
Thabiso Mafereka said Jackie is well spoken.
“@JackiePhamotse, what an astonishing woman. This lady is well spoken, has a good manner of approach and she’s smart,” he wrote.
TeeCeee said the doccie was a waste of her time.
“So, who’s going to make money from this? What was the point? I feel like I watched nothing. OMG, what a waste of my 40 minutes,” she wrote.
