THE day Mzansi has been waiting for has finally arrived.
Somizi Mhlongo’s ex-husband Mohale Motaung’s show, Mohale: On The Record, has aired on Showmax and is already the talk of the town.
Mohale was being interviewed by news anchor Aldrin Sampear and he opened up about his relationship with Somizi, from when they met to what went wrong with them.
They started by giving background on who Mohale is and spoke to his family. He then got into the details about his marriage with Somizi.
He claimed that Somizi asked him for a threesome a day after they got engaged in Paris, France in 2017.
He said it was going to be with a man who was shown on Living The Dream With Somizi in 2018.
“The advance of the threesome happening was made in this man’s presence. We were dancing, we were having fun and then Somizi walks up to me and says, ‘what do you think of threesomes?’ and I’m like ‘I’ve never really had to think about them because I’ve never had to think about them because I’ve never had the desire to do anything of that sort’,” he said.
“Then I proceeded to ask, ‘why would you ask me this question?’. And then he says ‘no because I think we should have a threesome with the man we met overseas.’ And I was shocked,” he said.

Mohale also shared about the first time Somizi allegedly abused him.
“He was angry at the fact that I went to work in Durban and I remember coming back from Durban and arriving at home and he was sitting on the couch, waiting for me,” he said.
“Immediately when I got there, he said to me ‘where do you come from?’ I said to him ‘what do you mean when you say where do I come from because you know where I come from?’ he continued to say I’m not telling the truth.”
Mohale claimed things got physical thereafter.
“He came upstairs, I remember he had a bottle of champagne in his hand and I was trying to get out of the clothes I was wearing and he started spilling champagne on me. And with me trying to find out what was going on, he started beating me up,” said Mohale.
“And his main aim, I remember him saying that he needs to mess up my face because this beautiful face is messing things up for him. I remember having to cover my face because the shoes that he was wearing were really going to damage my face. He started hitting me in the ribs, started hitting me, my legs and I couldn’t walk. I crawled down the stairs,” he said.
Mohale also denied asking for 50% for the divorce like Somizi claimed in his reality show.
“I was shocked yet again when I was told that he says that I want 50% of his assets. The very first letter that we sent to Somizi on the 25th of June 2021 stated thereof that I want my clothing, I want the car which he bashed, I want the money for the wedding, which belongs to the both of us and that was it,” he said.
Somizi’s management team at Duma Collective declined to comment.
“There is no comment from Somizi at this moment,” said the founder of Duma Collective, Sibu Mabena.
