Speaking about winning Social Media Personality of the Year, No Chill God thanked his fans for voting for him.

“Firstly, I’d like to say thank you to everyone who voted for me. You know yourselves. Most of my followers are very loyal, they are not many, but they are loyal, and I engage with them,” he said.

TikToker Witney Ramabulana won Emerging Social Media Personality of the Year.

When accepting her award, she said she couldn’t believe she started on a McDonald’s advert.

“Did I really go from ‘hi this is McDonald’s, can I take your order,’ to winning this award? To everyone nominated in this category, one win is for everybody. I love you guys so much. I just want to thank everybody who voted,” she said.

Candice Chirwa, also known as the Minister of Menstruation, won Social Media Activist of the Year.

“I’d like to say that this award is for all the other activists I was nominated with. This one is for you because often, activists don’t get the recognition that they deserve. But beyond this, this award is for so many young girls in South Africa who have to struggle just to get a pad, tampon or period underwear,” said Candice.

“We’re just going to keep on changing the world, one period at a time.”
