South African Social Media Awards nominees announced

MZANSI’S content creators and influencers will be recognised for their work in the digital space by the South African Social Media Awards (Sasma).

The awards announced their nominees and most of Mzansi’s most loved social media personalities made the cut.

This year’s awards will be hosted by reality TV stars, Thato Immaculate and Mohale Motaung and will be held on 26 November.

The Social Media Personality of The Year nominees are Kay Yarms, No Chill God, Siya Kolisi, Thick Leeyonce, The Lazy Makoti and Coash Zinhle Masango.

Kay Yarms and No Chill God are also nominated for Influencer of The Year alongside Mihlali Ndamase, Bonang Matheba and Lasizwe

Social Media Brand Campaign Of The Year nominees are Azola Mlota, Nocilette Mashile, Marcia Monareng, Moeketsi Ntsuku and Tshepang Kgethisi Mohlomi.

The nominees for Video Series on Social Media are The Ndlovu’s Uncut, Podcast & Chill with MacG, William Last, Sho Dxn and Gift Manando.

Primo 9Teen, Alphi Sipho, Sho Dxn and Whitney Ramabulana are nominated for Emerging Social Media Personality Of The Year.

The Social Media Agency of The Year nominees are Ofentse Mwase Films, Financial Fitness Bunnies, Duma Collective, To The Max Brand Management and Rocnation Sports SA.

Scorpion Kings, Zakes Bantwini, Daliwonga, Young Stunna and Nomfundo Moh are nominated for SA Song on Social Media.

Actress Linda Mtoba is nominated for Fashion Influencer of The Year alongside Thickleeyonce, Kim Jazde, Zinziswa Mayekiso and Libo Njomba.
