TV personality Katlego Maboe touched the hearts of many South Africans when he appeared in a video, crying.

In one of the teasers shared by Expresso on social media, he is seen crying and telling fellow presenter Graeme Richards that a lot has changed.

This ended with his comment section being filled with messages of love and hope.

Twitter user Kar_abz said she could not wait for Monday.

“God wanted you to shift the focus so you can receive His promises. Time to let it go and unleash that beast. We can’t wait for 8 August,” she wrote.

Then Rene Müller commented: “God allows things to happen in our lives for a reason. We will never understand but one thing I know for sure is, when He brings you out you can only testify of His goodness. This because through it all He kept you and through it all He hid you from harm.”

Another user TJ Lepedi said: “Get well soon. That’s South Africa for you. It’s going to be OK. I’m happy you are back. #KatIsBack.”

Leaka Madisha shared some words of motivation.

“They can’t break us down; those are tears of hope, resilience and freedom. Blessed up king. Don’t revenge; spread love and make change. Our time is limited in this world of calamity,” he wrote.

Katlego later took to social media to thank his followers for the love.

“Motho ke motho ka batho. Thank you for holding me up family!” he said.

He will be chatting to Graeme in a three-hour special that will be broadcast on Monday.
