SKEEM Saam actress Amanda Manku has shared a video of her late gogo amid the tragic loss.

The actress took to her Instagram page to post the heartfelt video expressing that she is missed.

The 32-year-old actress' mother Gladys Manku and gogo  Letty Maphothoma were gunned down in May 2021 while they went to fetch water at a communal tap at Makgophong in Zebediela, Limpopo.

Following their murders, three suspects were arrested in January 2024 and have since been in court for bail applications.

Among the accused is Amanda's father, William Manku, his girlfriend, Nonhlanhla Ngubo, and an alleged gunman.

On the recent Instagram post, Amanda shared some of their happy moments with the caption: “Dimakatso’s grandmother. We miss you all the time Legoabe’s child,”

In the video, Letty is seen walking towards the camera and can be heard saying they should take her photos while she is not dressed properly, and Amanda responded by saying people won't care about her clothes and that she was going to put the photo on Facebook.

The actress hasn’t said anything about his father’s arrest.

Previously, she posted a media statement that was released by her family, after her dad and co-accused were arrested which read: "In light of these events, we have been inundated with media requests which we wish to address through this statement.

"This is a difficult time for the family, but we trust the SAPS and judicial system to run its course as is necessary to bring the matter to a close.

"We wish to thank the public for their support during this time."

Amanda’s aunt, Daphne Matlala told Daily Sun that they were shocked as a family when they found out about the father being involved in the killings.

“We had suspicions because he was acting differently. He was distant when we wanted him to be closer to us,” she said.

She said that they’ve been in the dark for three years.

“We didn’t know the killer was someone close. We want justice to take its course and for all of them to be kept in jail,” she said.
