GOSPEL singer and songwriter, Anelisa Koti, is driven to bring change in Mzansi and he believes his voice will be a tool for change.
The 29-year-old, who was born in Alice in the Eastern Cape, said he was inspired by the late gospel star, Dr Malibongwe Gcwabe.
"I started doing music in 2005 when I was still at high school. This was when I joined a group called SCO. I believe I was born to be a singer," said Anelisa.
He said in 2019 he attended auditions organised by popular singer Sipho Ngwenya and was chosen to feature on a song with him, titled Obrigado.
He said seeing himself on the music channels such as 1Gospel, Trace Gospel and Moja Love was amazing.
"I then dropped my single in 2020 titled Hlal' Uhamba Nathi, which was played on a lot of radio stations. This is where I got a break in the music scene," he said.

Anelisa released his latest single, Ndakwazi DNA in November 2022. This after he won a talent search by Vovee Batala under Vovee Music Production in partnership with Andile Ka Majola of Elinda Productions.
He said people must get ready to dance to his new single.
"It was released on 8 November last year on my birthday, and it has already received airplay from Umhlobo Wenene FM. On the song, I talk about my testimony after losing my mother on the day I was born, and having to grow up without her," he said.
Anelisa said he is a blessed young man who will soon become one of Mzansi's gospel sensations.
"I would like to work with Pastor Benjamin Dube in the future. I like how he gets on a song and worships God. I grew up admiring him a lot," he said.
