RAPPER and songwriter Viwe Fawuli uses music to uplift other people.

The 22-year-old told SunBuzz that he believes in making music that aims to change lives.

Sadboy SynC from King William's Town in the Eastern Cape, who now lives in Cape Town, said he doesn't want to see people with long faces.

"I have always loved music since I was very young.

“Music is everything to me, and it helps me shape my personality. I write music when I'm happy or sad," Sadboy SynC said.

He said music is a calling to him.

"My stage name is Sadboy SynC. I got this name because I'm an emo rapper, and most of my music consists of sad songs. But I want to see people happy,” he said.

Sadboy SynC started making music in 2017.

“Growing up I listened to rock, R&B, Pop, EDM and hip-hop.

"I have learnt to remain humble and work hard,” he said.

In July 2022, he released a single titled Ghost Girl.

"I'm working on an EP I might release later this year. I'm just randomly recording singles which I'll put together,” he said.
