ASPIRING singers enter Mzansi's Idols competition with the hope it will open doors  and they'll shoot to fame after appearing on TV.

Some have become successful musicians after the competition, even without taking the number one spot.

But things didn’t go well for Mfundo Mathibela from Emalahleni, Mpumalanga.
