WHITNEY April from Cape Town is living her dreams.
The 26-year-old pop singer said she has been praying for better days and she's glad that her music career is going well.
She told SunBuzz that she also wishes good things for people who are trying to better their lives.
Whitney said that's why she released her latest single, titled Fighters.
She said that Fighters was released on Friday, 3 March and it's a follow up to her previous song titled The Prayer, which was released in September 2022.

"Fighters is a song of encouragement, a reminder that whatever you are face, you aren't alone and a declaration that you’re more than a conqueror.
"I hope people feel inspired, encouraged and uplifted when they hear the song. I want them to feel that they will overcome whatever they face and that things will get better,” she said.
Whitney said she wanted to remind people that they are strong and that they will make it in life if they focus on the bigger picture.
Whitney said she worked with a Chicago-based producer named Drew Fridge, and two amazing backup singers, Shantina and Courtney, on the song.
"I’ve always loved music and dreamt of one day being able to make a living from it. I decided to overcome my fears and started posting song covers on TikTok during the Covid-19 lockdown to express myself,” she said.
