Musician Una Rams believes R&B will never die.

WHILE amapiano is taking over the music industry, Una Rams believes R&B is not dead.

The musician and songwriter is best known for his innovative blend of R&B, soul and electronic elements.

His accolades include collaborating with industry giants such as Black Coffee and Jay Jody.

He recently released a song called SOS (Sex on Sunday) featuring Mikhale Jones. He told Daily Sun that the song is a captivating and soulful R&B masterpiece that surpasses conventional musical boundaries.

“The aim for SOS is to deliver an irresistible blend of sensuality and emotion so that this offering lingers for longer in the listener’s psyche to ensure love is heightened and experienced in high definition,” he said.

He said R&B is not dead anywhere in the world.

“It’s still very much in its infancy in South Africa. I'm excited to hear the many voices that are still to emerge. Elaine was just the beginning. The world still needs to hear about Nannette, Lucille Slade, Naye Ayla, Tron Pyre, and Benseptember," he said.

He said he's an R&B advocate.

“I’m on a mission to R&B everything. You’ll be hearing RnPiano, RnGqom and so on from me. Genres have imaginary boundaries or walls between them because they all borrow from one another anyways. This generation, with its eclectic taste and influence, will continue to tear those walls down and maybe even birth new sounds and genres,” he said.
