CONTROVERSIAL activist Sihle Sibisi has bagged a new gig.

She's been announced as the presenter of Moja Love's new show, Fake Marriage, airing on Saturdays.

Known for her advocacy against gender-based violence, Sihle shared with Daily Sun that the show aims to assist Mzansi women deceived by foreign nationals.

"We're aiding individuals trapped in marriages that began as transactions. It's common for foreigners to offer payment to our sisters for marriage, enabling them to stay legally in SA.

"Unfortunately, these arrangements often end up harming their lives, whether they entered knowingly or not," Sihle explained.

She enjoys the hands-on aspect of helping women navigate these situations.

"Moja Love approached me for my outspokenness and bravery. After a screen test, I was selected for the show. On the ground, I'm supported by bodyguards provided by Moja Love, ensuring my safety as I facilitate discussions between couples," she said.

Sihle expressed sadness that her late daughter wouldn't witness the show's success.

"She was with us during the initial filming and the pilot. Sadly, she passed away from a ruptured brain aneurysm on 11 January 2024, just after her tenth birthday. It's bittersweet knowing she won't see the show she was excited about," Sihle said.
