Now he has dedicated time in his busy 2023 calendar to make it to the people of Mpumalanga.
Sjava, who recently won Best Afro-pop Album Award at the South African Music Awards (Samas) for his recent album titled Isibuko, is expected to set Mbombela Stadium alight on Saturday, 9 December.
He will be joined by top Mzansi musicians such as Nasty C, Maglera Doe Boy, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Shwi, Mzukulu, Saudi, Anzo and Focalistic.
The 39-year-old from Bergville in KZN said he has a three-city sold-out Isibuko Tour ahead of his one-man show to get his audience warmed up and in the mood for the epic annual showcase. He will perform tracks from his three albums and two EPs.
“It’s exciting to take the one-man show to a new audience this year. Mpumalanga has been a big supporter of my work over the last seven years, and it’s a privilege to be able to bring the show to them,” he said.
