MULTI-AWARD-WINNING musician Jabulani "Sjava" Hadebe has hosted his one-man show in many provinces except in Mpumalanga.

Now he has dedicated time in his busy 2023 calendar to make it to the people of Mpumalanga.

Sjava, who recently won Best Afro-pop Album Award at the South African Music Awards (Samas) for his recent album titled Isibuko, is expected to set Mbombela Stadium alight on Saturday, 9 December.

He will be joined by top Mzansi musicians such as Nasty C, Maglera Doe Boy, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Shwi, Mzukulu, Saudi, Anzo and Focalistic.

The 39-year-old from Bergville in KZN said he has a three-city sold-out Isibuko Tour ahead of his one-man show to get his audience warmed up and in the mood for the epic annual showcase. He will perform tracks from his three albums and two EPs.

“It’s exciting to take the one-man show to a new audience this year. Mpumalanga has been a big supporter of my work over the last seven years, and it’s a privilege to be able to bring the show to them,” he said.

Sjava, who is also a member of the popular duo Inkabi Zezwe, said he also invited people from another provinces to come and join him at Mbombela Stadium.

He revealed that to make this experience accessible to his supporters outside Mpumalanga, travel and accommodation packages were carefully chosen to allow travelers to partake in the show.

He said the packages included hotel accommodation and ground transportation from several cities and towns in KZN and Gauteng, guaranteeing a safe journey to Mbombela for all commuters.

“I think it's an opportunity for people who enjoy our music in the other provinces to travel to Mbombela for the show and experience the beauty of that province,” he said.
