MZANSI lashed out at top DJ and producer Kabelo "Prince Kaybee" Motsamai and threatened to boycott him after publicly saying he supported New Zealand against the Springboks during the Rugby World Cup on Saturday, 28 October.

While many Mzansi people were behind their national team wearing Springboks colours, Prince Kaybee made it clear that he was behind New Zealand and wore the New Zealand jersey, which angered many South Africans.

The Springboks won 12-11 over New Zealand, who are known as the All Blacks.

Meanwhile, the late AKA's old Twitter page supporting the Springboks in 2019, resurfaced, and Mzansi praised him for being patriotic for his country.

On his Facebook page, Prince Kaybee wrote: "An amazing game indeed. You boys played your heart out, but unfortunately, rugby won. Congratulations to the Springboks."

On Twitter, he wrote: "Pleasure. I'm proud of you guys. Losing by 1 point with a man down against a strong team like South Africa shows how exceptional you boys are."

Mzansi threatened to stop supporting his music because he was supporting New Zealand on Twitter, and the 34-year-old said: "Look, you support the music because you want to, my expectation won't influence your decision. But if supporting the All Blacks makes music bad, then I will take my bad music home. Love you still."

Sabelo Khomo KaNdiyaza said: "We are sharp, but make sure that your upcoming song is released in New Zealand, not here in South Africa."

Tshepo Mo Mohapi wrote: "Don't stress much when your music doesn't sell anymore because Mzansi peeps love their Bokkes."

When Daily Sun contacted Prince Kaybee for comment, his phone was off.

He said on his Twitter account: "Lol, I'm cancelled now. There's no need to give you money. Ysa mo sebetsa."
