KAYA 959 presenter Andy Maqondwana finally has her driver’s licence.
The Feel Good presenter shared a photo of herself holding her licence on social media.
“I passed. I did my test in the pouring rain and I knew my dad was with me,” she wrote.
Andy also thanked everyone who helped her through the journey.

“What a journey. I owe it all to the best driving instructor, who I could not have done it without @bavinodrivingschool. I can’t thank you enough for your patience and teachings. This is the only driving school you ever need to go to,” she wrote.
“And of course, I must send a heartfelt thank you to you for all the messages, DMs, comments of encouragement and walking this journey with me,” she continued.
Andy had been sharing her journey on social media since October through the hashtag #AndyGetsHerDrivers, including the first time she drove on the road.
“Yoh, today I drove on the road with actual cars and robots that don’t work. I legit stopped breathing,” she shared.
Her fans congratulated her on getting the licence, with tweep Daphne Jena commenting that Andy was inspiring her to get hers.
“Congratulations @andymaqondwana, so proud of you girl. I am inspired. I am going to get mine too,” she wrote.
Then DT Malindi wrote: “There is absolutely time for everything under the sun, moon and stars. Congratulations.”
