MUSICIAN and entrepreneur Siya Metane, popularly known as Slikour, will host a new show called MTN Pulse Virals TV.
The show aims to discover the next music superstar.
The 38-year-old artist gained popularity from his group, Skwatta Kamp.
Slikour has made a name for himself in the industry.
He recently partnered up with MTN Pulse to bring a music talent show that looks at more than just artistic ability.
Slikour told Daily Sun that it's a reality TV show that aims to help artists get a boost.
“We are trying to accelerate artists who are already in show media, they already have a following on social media, but they just need a boost in the industry."
“What we’ve been doing on SlikourOnLife for the past 10 years, we’ve always worked with artists that got an opportunity to be great artists and have built their career.
"It is what we do in our office every day, and we wanted it to be a reality show,” he said.

Slikour said being an up-and-coming artist is hard and may feel like shooting in the dark.
“We can’t save everyone, but if we can provide steppingstones for a few artists, we have done our part. Artists will go on a boot camp where they prove their star quality and their ability to go viral,” he said.
The rapper said that being in the industry for more than 20 years, the change in the industry has made things advanced.
“The change of music and streaming platforms allows us to do shows like these where we don’t only have a few platforms for listening to music."
“People can build their careers and don’t have to be dependent on media only to get their music out,” he said.
