SHE put her studies on hold to take part in a reality show.

Her goal was to emerge from the show as a superstar, but she had no idea that it would be tough.

Former Big Brother Titans contestant Ipeleng Selepe said she'll continue with her law studies in 2024.

The 25-year-old from Dikebu in the North West said the show has meant a lot to her.

"It was emotionally, physically, mentally and intellectually challenging. But most of all, it was a great experience that most people would love to be a part of. It was amazing, but a lot,” she said.

She said she thought everything would be easy coming out of the competition.

"When you come out of it, you realise that you are like any other normal person and now you have to find a job for yourself," Ipeleng said.

She said she currently hosts a show on Opulance Radio and works as a model and creates content.

"My show is called The Opulance Life with me and Tshepo Dinoko every Tuesday from 6 to 9pm. We talk about social media and how it is influencing and changing our society. We invite different people on the show to talk about the digital space," she said.

Ipeleng said she has put her studies on hold for the entertainment industry.

"The media industry is not bad, but it doesn’t want people to rely on it full time. I think I am saying this because I haven’t made my breakthrough yet. Most people are doing well and can make a living out of it, but for me it's still new and I wouldn’t recommend it," she said.

She said she had been thrown into a world she didn’t understand.

"It only made sense for me to continue in this world that I was introduced to, rather than throwing myself into the legal world because it’s different. I've given myself 2023 to focus on the entertainment industry and will return to law next year," she said.
