A POPULAR comedian has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
A well-known Jobug-based funnyman will appear at the Randburg Magistrates Court on Thursday, 10 August.
The comedian and actor was arrested at Honeydew Police Station on Tuesday,7 August.
The 31-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with assault and pointing a firearm.

He allegedly assaulted and pulled a gun on his girlfriend.
Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed that a case of assault was opened at the Honeydew Police Station.
"Police can confirm that a 31-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with assault and pointing of a firearm. He is expected to appear before Randburg Magistrates Court on Thursday, 10 August 2023," he said.
