AS the world celebrates Valentine’s Day, South Africans are waiting to see which celebrity will be spoilt the most this year.
For the past years, celeb couples have had people green with envy with their Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Many of these couples have also had us believing that real love exists.
Daily Sun put together a few celebrity couples that have won the hearts of many South Africans because of their marriages.
Caiphus Semenya and Letta Mbulu
This couple has stood the test of time. They have been married for almost 60 years now and have kept their love private and off the headlines.
The iconic singers have two children together. They have released some hit songs such as Ndi Phendule and You Are So True.
Shoba and Phumeza Shoba (previously Mdabe)
Phumeza and Shota met in 2007 and recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.
They had to take a step back from the limelight after their last-born son was diagnosed with eye cancer in 2014. They took a five-year break and returned in 2019.
The couple also bagged a reality TV show called P.S. I Love You in 2022, where they remarried. They had initially tied the knot at Home Affairs in 2014 and didn’t do any ceremonies.
In 2022, they then did their umembeso and umbondo to unite both their families spiritually.
Kabelo and Gail Mabalane
Kabelo and Gail just celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in January and went on social media to show off their love.
“11 Years today, my skat. Look at us, showing up, choosing joy, embracing His peace, and failing forward. Cheers to the next 11,” Gail wrote on
They share two children together, and they recently celebrated that both their kids have now started school.
Howza and Salamina Mosese
It all started when they starred together on Backstage, and a few years later, they were married. They’ve been together for the past 15 years.
To celebrate the milestone, the couple jetted off to Zanzibar in September 2023. Howza shared a loving message for his wife.
“Happy 15th Anniversary, my love. Thank you for continuing to choose me in the good and tough moments. We are where we are in marriage by the grace of God. Here’s to many more great memories,” he wrote.
