MANY people think accountants are boring.
And musician Mbali Zuke wants to bust that myth.
The 32-year-old from Greytown, in KZN midlands, is an accountant and also a musician. She wants to show Mzansi that accountants can be fun too.
Mbali, who completed her Bcom degree in accounting at the University of Joburg in 2015, has released her single Imnandi Lento with Charmer Gal from Botswana.
She told Daily Sun she wants her song to tell people that although she's an accountant, she won't turn her back on her music career.

She's out to dispel the thinking that accountants are boring people who can’t groove.
"We're the new generation of accountants. When I’m in the office I’m an accountant and am serious about books. Come weekend, I’m a musician who performs everywhere and have my groove," Mbali said.
"It's easy to balance music and my work as an accountant. Music is in my blood."
She said she doesn’t want to limit herself and offers all types of music.
"I do Afro-pop, Afro-soul, amapiano and Afrobeat. I've released a lot of songs in these genres," she said.
Mbali released her debut single in 2012 titled Ukweduka, featuring legendary maskandi musician, Ihhashelimhlophe. The song is a blend of Afro-pop and maskandi.
