POPULAR musician Jabulani "Sjava" Hadebe wants to thank his fans in style and give them more for their massive support.

The 40-year-old musician from Bergville, KZN Midlands, is gearing up to add three new tracks to his highly successful 18-track album Isibuko, which was released in January 2023.

He said a deluxe version of his album will be released on Friday, 10 May when he embarks on his Isibuko Tour.

After successfully selling out the 2023 Isibuko Tour in three cities, Sjava will kick off his 2024 tour at the Durban Playhouse on 22 June, followed by the Joburg Theatre on 12 and 13 July.

Sjava, who won the Best Afro-pop award at the 2023 Satmas with his album Isibuko, said the support Isibuko has received over the past year has been humbling.

"This deluxe version is really for the fans who supported the album and wanted more of it. This is a thank you to them," Sjava said.

A year after the release of Isibuko, the album has gone platinum with 54.2 million streams worldwide and still holds up the charts today.

His hit Isoka went double platinum, while the tracks Amavaka and Amakhehla also went platinum.

Other hits such as Grounding, Kube Ngangazi, Thixo, Ubuhle Bendalo, Amaphiko, My Life, Iphisi, Dudlu, Ungavumi, Amanxeba, Akabuye, Ithuna and Time have achieved gold status.

He said he is looking forward to showcasing the album on the 2024 Isibuko Tour.

"The performance of Isibuko is special and the theatre setting is intimate. I’m looking forward to sharing this special space with you again and introducing the new songs to all the people who fell in love with Isibuko," he said.

The shows will consist of performances by Sjava and the artists featured on the 21-track deluxe album.
