THE latest song from Mthandazo Gatya has people talking!

The single, which is titled Umona, was released on Friday, 30 June with a short video of him washing panties and bras. He said he wanted to show men that it's okay to love and express themselves the way they want to, even though people might say korobela was used on them.

Mthandazo (31), who is from eCofimvaba in Eastern Cape, told Daily Sun that most of the time, men are judged for showing affection.

"I grew up in an environment that taught me that men who show affection are weak. If you express yourself and perform some chores in the house you would be referred to as being controlled," he said.

He said he is just saying men should be allowed to express themselves when it comes to love.

"I’m not denying that love potions exist. I’m just saying that not every man who is in love got ikorobole, sometimes it’s just jealousy," he said.

Mthandazo said men should be allowed to love and fully express themselves without being judged.

"There is no formula to this love. Everyone loves their way and we should allow them to enjoy themselves. Yes, I have been blessed with someone I love. I’m still not married though," he said.

He said the song features two artists he discovered on TikTok (Troybeatz & Milo).

"I asked the fans to look for them so I could take them to studio. I found them on social media and we recorded the song," he said.
