Meet Mr South Africa judge, Billy Brown!

SOCIAL entrepreneur, award recipient, MC and pageant mogul, Billy Brown, will once again be a judge at the Mr South Africa competition.

Billy was asked by the #MRSA2022 CEO, JP Roberts, to again join their judging panel for 2022.

Billy, who is originally from Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, is a seasoned events specialist, as well as the co-founder and CEO of the ABM Foundation.

He is also the founder of a number of projects such as, Mr Mpumalanga, the Sunrise Women Awards, Mpumalanga Men’s Achievement Awards and the Boy Child Also Needs Protection concept.

He is also a national director for Mister Tourism World South Africa.

“I’m very happy to be a judge at Mr South Africa,” he said.

“Being able to organise prestigious events and judge national pageants is an achievement for me.

“I believe the platform is a recognition for my passion, consistency and hard work.”

He has served as a judge at a number of prestigious events including the South African Traditional Music Awards.

He’s furthering his studies by doing a public relations and marketing course with Boston College at the Mbombela campus.

“Given the vast experience I have in pageants, the Mr South Africa brand believes that I am the right person to choose their next ambassador,” Billy explained.

He encourages the youth to follow their passions and hold on to their dreams.

“Believe in yourself and also be consistent in what you do,” Billy said.
