THE pressure is on for maskandi artists.
The top 30 maskandi artists for the second Gcwalisa Spring Picnic have been released.
The list includes the likes of Dumakahle, Imfezemnyama, Mzukulu, and Abafana BakaMgqumeni.
Last week, event organiser Khuzani Mpungose, who is also a maskandi artist, announced 10 artists who will be performing at the Gcwalisa Spring Picnic.
However, in the interest of fairness, maskandi fans were asked to choose 10 more artists from a pool of 30 artists which they would love to see perform.

Sminofu, he is leading them with 67 thousand likes.
Second place is Jaiva Zimnike with 65 thousand like.
Third place is Mzukulu with 59 thousand likes.
Number 4 is Skweletu with 58 thousand. likes
Number 5 is Dumakahle with 57 thousand likes.
Number 6 is Mdumazi with 51 thousand likes.
Number 7 is Shwi and Imfezemnyama with 44 thousand likes.
Number 8 is Mlabalaba with 43 thousand like.
Number 9 is UMjabulisi and Thokozani Langa with 41 thousand likes.
Number 10 is Bahubhe with 40 thousand likes.
Dumakahle told Daily Sun that he is excited to be part of this competition.
“I know it's still too early to celebrate but I hope I will get more likes so I can be guaranteed a spot in the top ten,” he said.
Jaiva Zimnike said he is happy to be in the top three.
“This shows that I’ve got a lot of support. It shows that my fans want to see me there. I think my spot is already guaranteed in the top ten,” said Jaiva.

Khuzani said that he is happy with the voting system.
“We are also checking and verifying the votes and I can assure you that they are all legit. We have eliminated all the votes from fake accounts,” said Khuzani.
Gcwalisa Spring Picnic will take place on 4 November at Hollywood Bets King's Park in Durban, KZN on Saturday.
The voting lines for the top 10 close on 30 September.
