Maskandi star Mthandeni Manqele said what he did was long overdue.

AFTER Mthandeni Manqele made history by becoming the first maskandi musician to reach 1 million views on YouTube within 12 days, he increased his booking fees again.  

His new song Paris featuring Lwah Ndlunkulu, reached 1 million views on YouTube on Monday, 21 August.  

After that he announced that his booking fees would be increased by R50 000, from R150 000 to R200 000.
