MARINO John Mvala wants to touch hearts and uplift spirits with his voice.

The artist, who is widely recognised as MJ Mvala, has recently released a gospel song called Usenguye

The 39-year-old from Schweizer Reneke in the North West told Daily Sun that the uplifting song is a testament to his unwavering dedication to spreading the message of faith, hope, and love through music.

He said his journey in the music industry has been marked by resilience and determination. 

“My profound faith and passion for gospel music have propelled me to create soul-enriching melodies that resonate deeply with audiences around the world,” he said.

He said Usenguye is a harmonious fusion of heartfelt lyrics and soulful melodies.

“The title, Usenguye, translates to 'He is with us' in isiZulu. It encapsulates the core message of the composition – a reminder that amid life's trials, we are never alone,” he said.


He said his velvety vocals, coupled with the emotive arrangement, create an atmosphere of spiritual transcendence, inviting listeners to embark on a journey of introspection and renewal. 

“The song's stirring chorus and poignant verses are poised to touch the hearts of believers and non-believers alike, leaving an indelible mark of inspiration,” he said.

MJ said he aspires to ignite a flame of hope within the hearts of listeners.

“I want to remind them that no matter the challenges they face, they're never alone. The presence of the Divine is a constant source of strength and solace,” he said.
