RADIO presenter and gospel musician Gcinile Zikhali is riding her wave of success, but she doesn't want to ride it alone.
She wants the youth of her dusty village to ride with her on her way to success.
The 28-year-old Gcinile from Mtubatuba in northern KZN, who has won several competitions and got several nominations for music awards, organised an event to let the up-and-coming artists share their knowledge and uplift each other.
The event, Siyavusana Melody Art Language, will be held at KwaMsane Sports Ground on 4 November.
Gcinile, who presents the mid-morning show on Rise FM n Mtubatuba, told Daily Sun that the event aims to help the youth of her village to let their dreams come true.

“We want to uplift the youth in areas such as visual art, craft art, music art, and fashion designing. We also want to uplift people living with disabilities who are doing art.
“We have invited different stakeholders in the art industry who promised to help and guide them to reach the top with relevant information,” she said.
Gcinile said that the event will help the youth stay away from trouble and avoid the life of crime and drugs.
“We love our small dusty village and want to help our youth to make their dreams come true.
“This event is also going to fight crime as our youth has started to use drugs, especially whoonga, due to the failure of following their dreams,” she said.
Gcinile is also the organiser of the Miss Year End pageant in Mtubatuba.
She said that she expects more than 2 000 people to attend, while the local talent will also share the stage to showcase their talents.
Meanwhile, Gcinile has been nominated for the upcoming 1KZN Prestige Awards in the category of the Best Traditional Gospel Song Category for her song, Izigi.
