FATHER'S DAY will not be the same for gospel singer and songwriter, Luyanda Ramatswi, who lost his father on Thursday, 15 June.
The 37-year-old from Bochum outside Polokwane, Limpopo told Daily Sun he still can't believe that his hero and pillar of strength is gone.
He said his father was sick and it was sad to see him struggle with the illness.
"It pains me because I spent two weeks at home with him. My relationship with my father was one of the greatest things and I can't imagine growing up as a young man without a dad.
"It pains me that I have lost both parents now, but I'm still standing knowing that God will be a good parent, provider and saviour, " he said.

The musician said his dad gave him some of the hymns he used to sing in school. "I promised him that I will add those hymns in my upcoming albums
Luyanda said he usually called his dad on Father's Day and also sent SMSes to tell him that he loved him.
The musician added that he will release a new single titled, Letla Nrata Jwang in August.
"The single's message is from the Bible when God asked His people how we will love Him if we don't love each other because the first commandment in the Bible is Love," he said.
