DJ Ndou 'Da Gifto' is back with a bang!

POPULAR DJ Ndou "Da Gifto" Livhuwani is a 24-year-old artist from Tswinga Village outside Thohoyandou, Limpopo.

The Lovely hitmaker with a Criminal Justice Degree from the University of Venda dropped his deep house EP titled Grateful in June.

His passion for music started in 2008, and he grew up in a family of musicians.

Being a big fan of producer and DJ Da Capo was where things began, and he fell in love with Afro Tech.

"I began to teach myself how to DJ using CDJs as I was a resident Dj in one of the local Pubs," he said.

In 2012, he shared a stage with big artists and DJs, including DJ Fresh, Lulo Cafe, Cassper Nyovest, DBN Gogo, and Shimza.

He then started producing his music on a laptop while a student at the University of Venda in 2019.

While in 2020, he reached the Red Square DJ Knockout finals at Propaganda in Tshwane.

But that was not enough for him as he also thrilled crowds at News Cafe in Thavhani Mall between 2020 and 2022 and Cabal Villa restaurant in Makwarela from 2022 to 2023.

He's currently a resident DJ at Exclusive Carwash in Vuwani, Limpopo.

"My love of music, production and unique track selection sets me apart from other DJs. I'm currently working on my EP, which is due to be released soon. At the moment, I am going to produce a single with 2022 Idol's number 2, Brandon Dhludhlu," he said.
