KHAYA Mthethwa and Rorisang Thandekiso have been announced to host the first Crown Gospel Music Awards in Gauteng.
The awards are coming to Joburg for the first time after being hosted in KZN for years. They will be hosted at the FNB Stadium.
Mirror PR and Events said Khaya (35) and Rorisang (34), both radio and TV presenters, will be the perfect hosts.
"Together, they will keep the audience engaged and entertained. We can't wait to see what they have in store for us on the big night! Two days to go before the gold carpet event to be hosted for the first time in Joburg. The awards take place on Sunday, 26 November, at the FNB stadium in a 10 000-seater dome marque," they said.
More than 120 celebrities, including gospel singers, producers, and actors, are expected to attend the event.

This year, the category presenters include former Skeem Saam actor Cornet Mamabolo, Vuyo Dabula, Uzalo's Nkanyiso Mchunu, founder of the Crowns Gospel Music Awards Zanele Mbokazi, Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Zizi Kodwa, and Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi.
Xolly Mcwango, Ntokozo Ngongoma, Jumbo Nyangiwe, Nathi Sithole, Sipho Ngwenya, The Tshwane Gospel Choir and DJ Happy Girl will be performing.
Some nominees include Omega Kenou, Andile Majola, Canaan Nyathi, Jumbo Nyangiwe and Tebs David for Best Gospel Artist.
The awards ceremony will be broadcast on SABC 2 on Sunday, 3 December, at 7.30pm.
